How to apply

How to apply

The admissions journey at LSICT is designed to be structured, transparent and supportive. Specific application routes may differ slightly between LSICT-delivered programmes and those delivered with partner universities, but the core stages are similar.

1

Enquiry and guidance

Submit an enquiry form via the LSICT website or contact us by email. You will receive initial guidance on programme options, entry criteria and next steps, including links to detailed programme information where relevant.

2

Eligibility check

You may be asked to share a recent CV and scanned copies of your highest qualifications. For doctoral routes, a short statement of research interests or draft proposal is usually required so that we can confirm academic suitability and supervision possibilities.

3

Application form and documents

Eligible applicants complete the formal application form (LSICT or partner portal) and upload supporting documents. These typically include degree certificates, transcripts, identification, English language evidence and, for doctoral routes, a more detailed proposal.

4

Academic review and interview

Applications are reviewed by the relevant academic team or partner institution. For many postgraduate and doctoral programmes, an interview is held to discuss your background, goals and fit with the programme, and to refine your proposed area of study where relevant.

5

Decision and offer

You will receive an outcome once the review is complete. Successful applicants receive either an unconditional offer or a conditional offer setting out any remaining requirements, such as additional documents, English-language evidence or financial guarantees.

6

Acceptance and enrolment

Once you accept your offer and meet any conditions, you will complete enrolment steps and receive joining instructions, induction dates and information about learning platforms, timetables and support services.

English language requirements

Applicants whose first language is not English are normally required to provide evidence of English language proficiency. Acceptable evidence may include recognised English tests or prior study in English-medium institutions, in line with the requirements of the relevant awarding partner.

Programme pages and offer letters will set out the minimum level required. In some cases, applicants may be offered a place subject to successful completion of an approved English preparation route.

Recognition of prior learning (RPL/APEL)

Where appropriate, learners may be able to receive recognition for prior certified learning or relevant professional experience, subject to the policies of the awarding partner and external regulators.

Guidance on RPL and APEL will be available for each programme, including what evidence is required, how to apply and any limits on credit that can be recognised.

We aim to acknowledge enquiries promptly and to provide an initial decision on complete applications within a reasonable timeframe. If additional information or steps are needed, the admissions team will keep you informed.

Fees and scholarships

Fees and scholarships

LSICT is committed to an affordable, transparent fee structure and to widening participation through targeted scholarships and bursaries. Detailed fee tables are provided on programme pages and in the annual fees schedule.

Tuition fees

Tuition fees vary by programme, level, mode of study and delivery partner. For each pathway you will see the current fee level, any additional costs and the currency in which fees are payable.

Where programmes are delivered in partnership with external universities, fees are set in line with the partner’s approved schedule and clearly indicated in offer letters and programme documentation.

Scholarships and bursaries

LSICT intends to offer a limited number of scholarships and bursaries each year, prioritising applicants from disadvantaged or under-represented backgrounds and those with outstanding academic or professional potential.

Each scheme will publish its own criteria, application process and deadlines. Some awards may be linked to specific programmes, regions or strategic partnerships, and may take the form of partial fee reductions or other support.

Payment, refunds and finance

Information on deposits, tuition payment schedules, refund conditions and sponsorship will be provided in your offer and on the fees and finance pages. Applicants are encouraged to read these carefully and contact the admissions team with any questions before accepting an offer.

Additional guidance will be available for sponsored students, employer-funded learners and those using education loans or external scholarships.

Agents and partners

Agents and recruitment partners

LSICT works with a small number of trusted education agents and partners to support international recruitment, outreach and local guidance for applicants. All agent relationships are managed through a clear due diligence and quality framework.

Onboarding and due diligence

Prospective agents are asked to complete an expression of interest and provide evidence of company registration, sector experience and compliance with local regulations. Formal agreements are issued only after a satisfactory review and approval process.

Territories and performance

Territory allocations, recruitment targets and performance expectations are agreed in writing and reviewed on a regular cycle. Agents are expected to provide accurate advice to applicants and to uphold LSICT’s values, quality standards and safeguarding commitments.

Marketing and student safeguarding

All marketing materials produced by or with agents must be accurate, transparent and approved by LSICT. Agents are required to prioritise student welfare, avoid misleading claims and follow agreed processes for handling complaints or concerns.

Organisations interested in becoming an LSICT agent or recruitment partner can contact us for further details of the onboarding process and current opportunities in specific regions.
